A New York psychiatrist, Dr. Nathan Conrad, has a successful practice, a beautiful wife and a charming daughter. Conrad is summoned by a colleague to examine a young patient, Elisabeth Burrows. She presents a history of unexplained violence, failed treatments and misdiagnoses and is tied to a danger that will close in on Conrad and his family. Conrad's daughter is kidnapped and the only way to save her is to somehow unlock a 6-digit number locked away in Elisabeth's troubled mind. Starring Michael Douglas, Famke Janssen, and Oliver Platt. Rated 'R' for violence, language, and some sexuality. Time between bathroom breaks: 90 minutes.

"Moulin Rouge," a movie about a place where dreams and fantasies come true. Paris, 1900 is the setting for this movie where Nicole Kidman plays a dancer at the famed cabaret, the Moulin Rouge. She is forbidden to fall in love but does. Ewan McGregor plays a writer seeking to know what love is. This musical story is told through a series of modern songs. Rated 'PG-13' for mature content. For more conservative people, consider it rated 'R.'

An astronaut is thrown forward in time by an electromagnetic storm and crash lands on planet run by apes and where humans are slaves. The humans see him as a hero as he defies the apes in an attempt to return home. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Tim Roth, and Helena Carter. Rated 'PG-13' for violence and scary apes. Time between bathroom breaks: 119 minutes.

Christmas in New York is a time for shopping, ice-skating, and falling in love. Fate draws a couple together in a department store as they vie for the same pair of gloves and they end up having a romantic evening together. The trouble is that they are both seeing someone else. Events lead them to go their separate ways with hopes that fate will bring them together again to see if what they had was true love. Starring John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale.
